Olanrewaju Fasasi who goes by the stage/screen name Sound Sultan has finally signed a management deal for the first time in his career.
On Tuesday 7th July, 2018, Temple Management Company, a foremost talent, artist and event management firm operating out of Lagos hosted the modern hip hop music start at their head office to officially put pen to paper on the management deal.
The talented singer, actor and songwriter who prior to this made a name for himself as one of the front runners of Afro-pop as an indie artiste expressed his delight at the prospect of being signed on to the company that also has entertainment celebrities like Iyanya, Bisola, 9ice, and Nigerian footballer Kenneth Omeruo on its books.
Sound Sultan posted a barrage of photos on his Instagram page thereafter, to this effect which he captioned: “CALL THE TEMPLE FOR MY MANAGERIAL AFFAIRS HENCEFORTH. Swipe left until there is no swipe left.”
The “Kokose” singer, while confirming his status as a Temple man has these to say: “I am amazed at how much this organization has achieved within a short space of time and I excitedly look forward to a fruitful, interesting and successful journey with this new management team. Before joining the Temple Management, looking from the outside, I could tell that this organization has a well-structured plan, one that is synonymous with the personal brand I want to continue building. I am indeed elated to be part of this family’.
Hamza Idris-Kutigi, the Chief Financial Officer of Temple Management Company while commenting on the deal congratulated Sound Sultan on his previous achievements and expressed delight at the prospect of working with him. “This synergy [of the partnership] is the beginning of a journey we truly eager to commence and we promise to put nothing short of our best foot forward,” he said. He also assured Sound Sultan of the firm’s belief confidence in his music, vision and brand, and promised to ensure top-notch assistance whenever needed.
